Subtraction in Excel

In this post we are going to learn how to subtract numbers from each other in Excel. Again, the key steps to remember are:

1. Click where you want the answer to go
2. Type in = (that tells Excel you are entering a formula)
3. Click on the cell you want to subtract from
4. Enter – (minus)
5. Click on the cell you want to subtract
6. Press Enter
